To be 100% certain of getting the featured 5-star character, you need to be prepared to hit “hard pity” twice. This means 90 wishes to potentially lose the 50/50, and another 90 wishes to guarantee the promotional character, for a total of 180 wishes. This translates to 28,800 Primogems.

Is the Blessing of the Welkin Moon worth it?

For low spenders, the Welkin Moon offers by far the best value. For about $5, you get a total of 300 Genesis Crystals upfront and 2700 Primogems over 30 days (90 per day). This total of 3000 Primogem-equivalents is significantly cheaper than buying Genesis Crystals directly.

How many primogems can a F2P player get in a patch?

A diligent free-to-play player can typically earn between 8,000 and 10,000 Primogems per 6-week patch cycle. This is equivalent to about 50-62 wishes, including daily commissions, all events, Spiral Abyss clears, and promotional codes.

Does this calculator account for Stardust/Starglitter?

This calculator focuses on direct Primogem income. However, it does include an option for the monthly shop reset, which is the primary use of Stardust for wishes. Starglitter is generally saved for characters or specific weapons, but can be converted to wishes in an emergency.

What is “soft pity”?

Soft pity is a community-observed mechanic where the probability of pulling a 5-star character dramatically increases after reaching approximately 74 wishes on the character event banner. Most 5-star pulls happen between 75 and 85 wishes.

How often does the Spiral Abyss reset?

The Abyssal Moon Spire (Floors 9-12) resets on the 1st and 16th of every month, giving you two opportunities per month to earn Primogem rewards.

Can I save my pity for the next banner?

Yes, your pity count on the Character Event Wish and Weapon Event Wish banners carries over. If you make 50 wishes on the current banner and don’t get a 5-star, your count on the next character banner will start at 51.

Why aren’t Acquaint Fates (blue wishes) included?

This calculator focuses on helping players save for limited-time characters and weapons, which use Intertwined Fates (pink wishes). While you will accumulate Acquaint Fates for the standard banner, they are not part of the strategic saving process for a specific, limited goal.
